The bouquet of bad air we breathe has many elements-some well-known and others not quite. On November 6, Kashmir received snowfall as a fresh western disturbance approached the northern tip of India, thereby wrapping the picturesque region under a thick blanket of snow for the first time this season. Western India was lucky for the second time this season as the Extremely Severe Cyclonic Strom Maha dissipated before making landfall. According to a study conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi, health of the people living in the capital is affected by the air quality all year round. In an attempt to curb air pollution levels around the captial, the Delhi government launched the third Odd-Even car rationing scheme on Monday, November 4. Experts say deep ocean environment in as tough as the space environment.
