Robstown ISD now implementing 4D Technology in all after school programs

[2019.10.09, Wed 00:03] ROBSTOWN, Texas - Some students at Robert Driscoll Elementary School in Robstown are testing out new 4D technology in their 21st century community learning after school program. The four-dimensional z-space technology was implemented this school year, and has so far been a hit. The students are focusing on learning STEM, which is science, technology, engineering and math. This program looks like games to the kids, but it tells them exactly what they're learning. "What they're doing is they can see from every angle on there. Tthey're able to touch it, pull it out, bring it closer to them, and then turn the angles to see how many sides it has, how many vertices, it's a different type of learning for sure," says Abe Arevao, 21st Century coordinator. The virtual experience helps students take a hands-on approach to learning - from looking inside the human heart to exploring different shapes and building roller coasters. Robstown ISD has placed the order for this 4D technology to be in every school, from elementary to high school's after school program.
